“ButIneedtogohomeatnight.（但我晚上要回家。）”秦瑾君皱了皱眉。
“Noneedtoafraid,Iwillcomehomewithyou.（没必要害怕的，我会和你一起回家。）”Amelia宠溺地摸摸秦瑾君的头。
“ImeanIneedtogobackmydad’shouse.（我的意思是我要回我爸家里。）”秦瑾君解释道。
“Why?（为什么？）”Amelia转而换上一脸的不解。
“IpromisehimthatIwillgobackfromFridaytoSundaymorning,butIjustspendthenightthere,therestofthetimeisyours.（我答应他从周五到周日早上待在家，但我只是在那里过夜，剩下的时间都是你的。）”秦瑾君继续解释道，然后抬手想捏一下Amelia的脸蛋，却被她避开了。
“Justthisweekright?（只是这周对吧？）”Amelia神情开始变得古怪。
“No.（不是。）”秦瑾君摇摇头，继续说道：“Maybelastacoupleyears,Idon’tknowwhentostopyet,butIcan’tleavehimaloneinthatbighouseallthetime.（也许会持续几年吧，至于什么时候停下来我心里还没定数，但我不能一直把他独自留在那间大房子里。）”
“What?Acoupleyears!（什么？几年！）”Amelia声音开始变得尖锐，她继续说道：“Ifyoukeepgoingbackhome,itmeansthisisnotreal,youarenotreadytomoveinwithme.（如果你一直往家里跑，就意味着这不是真的，你还没准备好搬来和我住。）”
“Trueme,Amy.Iamreadytomoveinwithyou,butIamnotreadytoleavemydadalone.AtleastIcandoiskeepinghimcompanyuntilhefindanotherwife,thesuitableone.（相信我吧，Amy。我已经准备和你同居了，但我还没准备好让我爸孤苦伶仃。现在我能为他做的只有陪着他，直到他找到另一个合适的妻子。）”秦瑾君耐心地告诉Amelia她的想法。

“Actually,Ithinkoneofyourdecisionsisright,thankstotheseparaterooms,soIdon’tneedtoseeyourfacewhenImadatyou.（实际上，我觉得你有个决定是对的，多亏我们有各自的房间，所以我不用在我生你气时看到你的脸。）”Amelia气鼓鼓说完，起身回房。
